Equity and equity like securities are eligible for the index, including ordinary shares, units of royalty trusts and stapled securities. Security eligibility is reviewed semiannually during April and October. New securities are added to the investable universe if they are among the top 75% of the securities in Canada based on trading volume and turnover.
