This is an open ended mutual fund. The investment seeks growth of capital over the long term. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of well-known and established companies. It normally invests at least 80% of assets in blue chip companies. The fund invests in companies that Fidelity Management & Research Company (FMR) believes have above-average growth potential (stocks of these companies are often called growth stocks). It invests in securities of domestic and foreign issuers. The fund uses fundamental analysis of factors such as each issuer& 39 s financial condition and industry position, as well as market and economic conditions, to select investments.
