The Index selects about 400 U.S. small-capitalization companies within the Nasdaq US Small Cap Index using the average of three combined composite scores: 1) sustainable shareholder yield, which is a composite score using 9 factors, mostly related to dividends and cash flow; 2) pricing power, which is a composite score of 11 factors, mostly related to a company's operating margins and earnings; and 3) momentum.
