The Edible Oils and Fats segment produces, markets, and sells edible oil, margarine, shortening, and other related products. The company offers cooking oil under the Bimoli, Bimoli Spesial, Delima, Happy Salad Oil, and Mahakam brand names; and margarine and shortening products under the Palmia, Simas, Amanda, Malinda, and Delima brands. As of December 31, 2016, it had a planted area of approximately 300,536 hectares, which included 247,430 hectares of oil palm; 20,115 hectares of rubber; 13,249 hectares of sugar cane; and 19,742 hectares of other crops in Indonesia, as well as 53,826 hectares of planted sugar cane in Brazil. The company also owns and operates bulking facilities; provides transportation services; and operates in the macronutrients mix fertilizers and prefabrication industries. Indofood Agri Resources Ltd. has operations in Indonesia, Singapore, China, Nigeria, Malaysia, the Philippines, Timor Leste, and internationally.
